    Additional information

Please keep all persons and pets off of treated areas until pesticides have fully dried.

Mowing equipment should be well maintained in order to keep from damaging turf. Deck height should be increased to help compensate for lack of sunlight. Regular mowing at correct heights and  schedules will help maintain proper root development.

Watering is a crucial part of lawn management when it hasn’t rained recently and when temps go up. Water to a depth of 6” to help maintain a healthy lawn.

Aeration is the act of pulling cores 2”-3” deep X .5”-1” wide to help  bring oxygen and moisture back into the soil. A compacted soil could be why grass won’t grow in certain areas of a lawn.

Thatch is the layer of dead plant material on the soil surface. Thatch is caused by a high growth rate and a low decomposition rate and could cause the turf to be thin. Areas of thatch in excess of .5” should be racked and removed from the site to help turf health in that area.

Leaves should be raked and removed prior to any application made to turf grass so  products can make it to the target area. This should be done particularly in the fall.

Fertilizer is optional. Ask about different options for fertilizer and herbicide treatments. Fertilizer estimate is based on current market prices. Herbicide estimate is firm. No contracts. Cancel anytime.

  • Flea Preparation

ALL PERSONS AND PETS NEED TO LEAVE WHILE TREATMENT IS IN PROGRESS AND MAY NOT RETURN UNTIL AFTER 2 HOURS WHEN IT HAS FULLY DRIED. COVER ANY FISH TANKS WITH A DAMP TOWEL

Warranties will be voided if the customer does not fully prepare the home for treatment prior to treatment dates. Your preparation is just as, if not more, important than the treatment itself. Preparation is to be done before each treatment. If you are not prepared for treatment when the applicator shows up to treat, you will be charged a service fee of $65, treatment will be rescheduled, and no refund will be given for previous treatments.

If you are not able to be prepared please contact us prior to appointment time to discuss rescheduling when you will be able to be prepared. 405-612-5928

    Before treatment-

Pesticides will need to be applied to floors and underneath furniture cushions.

Clear all flooring (including closets and underneath beds and furniture) of boxes, clothing, toys, & any other items that will prevent treatment.

Wash all pet bedding in hot water. If bedding material is discarded into the trash, put it in a trash bag and place it in the dumpster as soon as possible.

Vacuum wood, tile, and vinyl flooring.

    Vacuum all carpets and rugs.

Vacuum pet sleeping and resting areas (under furniture, window sills, shelves, etc.)

Vacuum furniture, especially between and under cushions.

Empty vacuum cleaner contents into the trash bag and remove to a dumpster as soon as possible.

Store or cover all food. Cover fish tanks.

Treat all pets prior to application with the respective flea and tick control methods.

An exterior treatment may be necessary for complete control of fleas. We can advise what is best for your needs.

    After treatment-

DO NOT shampoo carpets or mop hard floors until one month after all treatments have been applied. However,  we understand accidents happen. You may clean up spills but try to keep from cleaning all floor surfaces.

Continue to vacuum daily until fleas are not noticeable. (remove vacuum contents to exterior trash container each time)

Treat all pets on schedule according to the pesticide labels for each respective product used.

    BEDROOMS

This is the area of primary concern. Bed Bugs hang out close to their food source, so your bed, dresser, nightstands, and clothes are all potential hiding places

Sweep or vacuum the floors, especially corners and baseboards.

Strip your bed, putting the linens and pillows in a plastic bag.

Separate the mattress from the box spring and vacuum them, paying special attention to crevices, then lean them against a wall.

Clear away all knick-knacks. Wipe down anything that’s not soft material and store it in a plastic bag or bin; anything that is soft goes into a plastic bag.

Empty all closets and dressers, putting everything into a plastic bag.

Remove drawers from dressers and nightstands and pile them in the middle of the room.

Take down all curtains and window coverings, putting them into a plastic bag.

Wipe down electronics and store whatever possible in plastic bags or bins.

Move all furniture at least a foot away from the walls.

    LIVING ROOMS

The living room is just as important as the bedrooms and will be treated too. Sweep or vacuum the floors, including corners and baseboards.

Remove pillows from chairs and couches, put them in a plastic bag.

Vacuum all soft furniture, including cushions.

Clear away all knick-knacks. Wipe down anything that’s not soft material and store it in a plastic bag or bin; anything that is soft goes into a plastic bag.

Empty all closets and drawers, putting everything into a plastic bag.

Remove drawers from furniture and pile them in the middle of the room.

Take down all curtains and window coverings, putting them into a plastic bag.

Wipe down electronics and store whatever possible in plastic bags or bins.

Move all furniture at least a foot away from the walls.

    CLOTHING/LINENS

All of your clothing, linens, pillows, and soft material should be in plastic bags. This prevents any bugs riding in the clothes from dropping into other areas while they’re being transported.

Clothes and linens should be washed in hot water, then put through the dryer on the hottest setting for at least 30 minutes.

Dry-clean only clothing, pillows, and all other soft material should be just put through the dryer on the hottest setting for at least 30 minutes.

If you’re at a laundromat, you’ll need to dry them for 45 minutes because the dryers don’t get hot enough, fast enough.

Once washing and drying is done, set aside a week’s worth of clothing and store the rest in new, clean plastic bags or bins.

The clothing to be worn should be stored in a plastic bin during the course of all treatments for best results.

    THROWING THINGS AWAY

If you find that you don’t want to or can’t keep any furniture, knick-knacks, clothing, books, or anything else, don’t just pitch them in the trash. The risk of transferring the infestation to a new home is very high, which means you could get them again indirectly. If you throw something out, make sure to destroy it (slash cushions, smash wood, break plastic, spray paint) and wrap it in plastic. This will deter dumpster-divers from taking bug-filled objects.
